InvoicePaw Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: October 20, 2026

This policy applies to use of InvoicePaw and forms part of the Terms of Service. Those terms govern payment, suspension, termination and unused paid credit.

1. Legitimate invoicing only

Use the service only for lawful business transactions and communications you are authorised to make. You must not:

  • create fraudulent, fictitious or misleading invoices or impersonate another person or business;
  • misrepresent work, goods, amounts owed, taxes, payment status or the person entitled to payment;
  • insert deceptive payment instructions, phishing links, malware or attempts to steal money or credentials;
  • use invoices for unsolicited advertising, bulk solicitations, threats or harassment; or
  • facilitate illegal activity, evade sanctions or disguise unlawful proceeds.

Estimates, deposits, corrections and disputed bills must have a legitimate basis and be described accurately. A genuine payment dispute alone does not establish abuse. InvoicePaw does not adjudicate the underlying debt.

2. Lawful recipients and information

You must have authority to provide personal information and instruct us to process it. Verify recipient details and comply with applicable privacy, communications, intellectual-property and professional obligations. Do not use purchased or scraped contact lists or bypass applicable communication preferences.

The text service is for interactions between merchants and InvoicePaw, not customer SMS campaigns. Do not provide passwords, card credentials, government-issued personal identifiers, unnecessary medical information or other sensitive details unrelated to an appropriate invoice. Business tax details and payment instructions must be suitable for the intended recipient. Do not disclose another person's information or invoice link without authority.

3. Security and fair access

Do not access another person's account, invoices, information or payment settings without authority, bypass access controls or usage limits, manipulate credit or free allowances, fabricate payment confirmations, or interfere with service operations or records.

Do not introduce malicious code, scrape protected information, overload the service or attempt to obtain secrets, another person's information or prohibited actions through AI. Do not use alternate accounts to evade restrictions or payment methods you are not authorised to use.

Do not copy or resell the service, falsely claim our endorsement or misuse our branding. These restrictions do not prevent legitimate use and sharing of your invoices or restrict rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

4. Reporting concerns

Report abuse, incorrect invoices or security concerns to hello@invoicepaw.com. Include enough information to investigate without unnecessary personal information or payment credentials. Do not publish private invoice links, customer information or exploitable security details. This does not restrict lawful reporting to authorities or other legally protected disclosures.

We may request further details and share information reasonably needed to investigate or comply with law, subject to the Privacy Policy. Reporting an issue does not authorise further unauthorised testing.

5. Enforcement and changes

We may warn, request corrections, restrict features, stop unsafe deliveries, suspend access or terminate an account under the Terms of Service. Immediate action may be necessary for legal, security or fraud risks. Where lawful and practicable, we explain restrictions and allow a response. Contact hello@invoicepaw.com if you believe a restriction is mistaken.

We may preserve relevant records and cooperate with lawful requests. Reports do not automatically establish a violation or forfeit paid credit. Financial treatment follows the Terms of Service and applicable law.

Material changes follow the Terms of Service's notice and acceptance rules.
